It is my belief is that as a civilisation we are at a cross roads.

 

The media speaks of us being on the brink of a mass extinction, I believe we are on the brink of a mass awakening.

 

An extinction of the old ways, of divide and conquer, of every man (or woman) for themselves. 

 

Change is coming, a shift in the paradigm of how we live our lives, our understanding of what it is to be human and the responsibility that comes with it.  

 

With the last big leap in technological evolution, the dawn of the  industrial age, came rapid growth of industry. It became necessary for systems and processes to be designed to increase our efficiency and productivity, we lurched clumsily forward into this new age unaware that we were becoming more human doings than human beings.

 

We are currently in the midst of a second technological leap, the evolution of AI.

 

With many of us having more means to live by than every before, it often appears that amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life, we have less meaning to live  for.  

 

Chronic dis-ease and stress related conditions are at an all time high. Why? We’ve lost our purpose. We’ve lost sight of who we are, as individuals but also as a collective species. Life has become about the ‘I’ or ‘me’ we’ve become separate from each other and in so doing we have become disparate from ourselves, lost in a fog of shoulds and musts that only leads to us perpetuating this broken model of society and what it means to be human. 

 

 

You are  so  much more…..

 

In his address at the Vancouver Peace Summit in 2009, the Dalai Lama said:

 

“The world will be saved by the western woman.”

 

I’d be inclined to agree.

 

This isn’t about feminism, it’s about the stirrings in the souls of women across the globe, the yearning for change from deep within. It’s about women who are awakening to their power, their feminine light, the realisation that there is more to life than this conveyor belt we so often find ourselves on. These women are ready  to initiate and lead change, to start a revolution.

 

Women like Greta Thunberg, Michelle Obama, Malala Yousafzai, Sheryl Sandberg, Serena Williams, Oprah, Beyonce and Jacinda Ardern to name but a tiny few. 

 

These women are standing in their feminine, leading with strength and grace. 

 

You know you’re a woman made for more than what you're currently experiencing don’t you? You know there is so much more of you to give if you could just peel back the layers that have cocooned you, kept you small, prevented you from spreading your wings and soaring. 

 

You feel slightly terrified right now, I know, that’s ok, I’ve got you. 

 

But you also know deep down that the fear you have of staying where you are, continuing to live this life of existence is so much more terrifying to you than stepping up and stepping out. You know this is your time, you feel it….

 

 

It’s your time to Rise and Shine, if not now, when?
